Project SEED provides selected grades 10-12 students the opportunity to explore a career in science and be involved in research at industries and universities. Students qualify if their family income is less than 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines per household. Application Deadline: April 12, 2023
Kindergarten - 6th Grade Campers attend Marrott Park (7350 N. College) each day from 9:00 am-3:00 pm. 7th-12th Graders may serve as Jr. Counselors during the week.

The Teen Employment Camp is a paid six-week career and leadership development camp for Far Eastside students ages 15 - 18. The program is designed to give participants internship experience in a career of their interests by working half days and then returning to CAFE in the afternoon for workshops and training. The summer teen employment camp also includes guest speakers and college tours. Students will earn a weekly stipend for their time and commitment to the program. Interested candidates must be enrolled in high school, a far eastside resident, complete an application by the deadline, and participate in an interview process.
This is a paid youth leadership, wellness and growing program created by Earth Charter Indiana in collaboration with Tru Colors Indy and Kheprw Institute. The SGL program is for youth ages 13-18 from 1-4pm Monday - Thursday June 12- July 21st. The program will occur at a farm just South of downtown and a garden in the Riverside neighborhood.
YEAR ROUND: Teen Mentor Program open to youth ages 15-18 is a paid mentorship position where you will work with our elementary and middle age students helping to lead educational and recreational activities.

The STEAM Farm camp is an employment-based youth development program for upcoming 9th – 12th-grade students from Marion and surrounding counties to work together learning how to manage and work on an urban farming plot. This youth-led initiative provides learning opportunities, implementation of real-world life and business principles, service to the community, and an outlet for local agriculture. Exploradoor is recruiting high school students who will be a junior or senior during the 2023-2024 school year to work as ambassadors. Ambassadors will serve as a representative of Exploradoor, promoting Exploradoor.com and featured programs to other students at their school. Ambassadors will work each week to share information in various ways with students, teachers, parents, and counselors.
Youth between the ages of 14 and 18 can apply to work at Freewheelin’ Community Bikes through their paid Youth Education and Employment Training (YEET) Program. For most youth, it’s a first job that helps them prepare for a successful future while providing vital services to Freewheelin’ participants and customers.

Apprenticeships are available for young adults ages 17-24 who live within a mile of Tarkington Park. Participants earn a small stipend while learning technology skills in the Best Buy Teen Tech Center, including music production, recording and engineering, graphic design, photography, videography, and much more. In addition, youth gain job readiness skills, conflict resolution, financial literacy and are linked to professionals in various technology fields for networking and mentorship. YTT is a seven-week summer job for high school students and college-age leaders who are interested in improving their community through tree care and gaining leadership experience.
